Classification

The O-Event "Trofeu Ciutat de Barcelona" is a competition for teams of six runners (three women and three men). The first course (Saturday 15th) will be in classic individual format, and it will be developed on Collserola terrains, hills southwest Barcelona.

The second course (Sunday 16th) will be run in classic relays around Montjuïc Castle and the famous Olympic Ring. We guarantee spectacular views over Barcelona but also white forest areas, open land and sprint legs. There will be a mass start for men and another one for women on a three-member relay race, being the total team time the sum of both races.

Final results for guest National Teams and all other participant teams will be based on the Relay result and the best four individual results on the Saturday course of each team (two men and two women).

The TICBCN Event is also open to individual participants of all levels and for both courses ( Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th). We will be offering one main Open category (men and women) on a classic race on saturday and a score race limited in time an controls on sunday

Courses for teams as well as Open categories will be run under SportIdent time control. If you desire so, we can rent or sell it. Just ask on the Information Site

There is a maximum of 18 teams. Two teams are the Catalan and British National Teams, which are invited. There are 8 teams reserved for catalan Orienteering clubs and the other 8 vacants are open to any other teams. The limited vacants will be assigned by registration order.
